I am a theoretical physicist working on many-body quantum systems. I am particularly interested in far-from-equilibrium closed quantum systems and the interplay between dynamics, strong correlations and symmetries. Some of the questions I try to address are: How does a given symmetry manifest in the dynamics of a system? What are the symmetry breaking patterns that can occur? Are there universal aspects to these or perhaps novel phenomena which arise?
My taste is for performing analytic calculations and obtaining exact or non-perturbative results where possible. I have experience working on integrable quantum models as well as solvable quantum circuits.Â

I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and did my undergraduate studies at UCD. After a Master's at Imperial College London I moved to the US and did my PhD at Rutgers University under the supervision of Prof. Natan Andrei. Following this, I was a Postdoc in the group of Prof. Victor Galitski at the University of Maryland. I then came back to Europe to work with Prof. Pasquale Calabrese at SISSA in Trieste, Italy. In 2025 I started as an assistant professor at Coventry University.
